About the opportunity:

Hitting first coal in February 2022 was a huge milestone for our Mastermyne Coal Operations and we’re continuing to build our Cook Colliery project team to unleash our third development unit in February this year. About the role:

Our project technical staff are the backbone to our operations and getting the right people onboard from contract inception is critical to our success. Our coordinators lead from the front, are forward-thinkers and enjoy diversity in their working week as they juggle the multiple priorities and expectations that come with working on a busy, productive mine site.

Minimum skills and attributes we seek for an Electrical Coordinator:

Coordinators are responsible for providing direction to Mastermyne employees and subcontractors and are required to liaise with external representatives to achieve safety and production targets. Minimum skills and experience required includes:

  • Experience in a similar role with a focus on UG Coal Development works;
  • Projects are planned, managed and delivered within agreed timeframes and budgets;
  • Reports are completed, analysed and delivered in agreed timeframes;
  • Review / conduct hazard and risk assessments and communicate to all persons working;
  • Actively promote and participate in mine safety among the workforce;
  • Ensure activities are aligned to planned schedule;
  • Identify potential improvements to the process & action;
  • Coaching and mentoring crews;
  • Provide leadership to crew members, setting positive examples and assisting in team development;
  • Current Standard 11 Statement of Attainment;
  • Current S123/G2 Supervisory Statement of Attainments;
  • Signed copies of training transcripts and/or authorisations;
  • Valid Driver’s Licence;
  • Electrical Trade Certificate; LVR/CPR; Electrical Licence; EEHA.
