About the opportunity:
Our Cook Colliery mine operation is full steam ahead hitting “first coal” in February this year and about to mobilise a second development unit in June. At its peak we’ll run three (3) development panels with a workforce of 180 people strong. This role will report to our Technical Services Manager on site and provide scheduling and planning support to our growing mine operation.

This position is an opportunity for a fresh-thinking and innovative Graduate to join a Company that invests in its employees and relishes in providing pathways for career development. Key responsibilities include assisting with mine planning and scheduling scopes of work for a major underground coal development works.
Desirable skills/attributes (If you do not have all the necessary skills you’re still encouraged to apply): -
- Exposure to planning and scheduling with a preferred background in mining;
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written;
- An appetite for numbers;
- Attention to detail and sound thinking;
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills;
- Competency using a variety of computer software programs including MS Project and XPAC;
- Tertiary Qualification - Mining Engineer;
- Full Driver’s Licence;
- 1 to 2 years postgraduate experience.
