Job Description

We are looking for a Payroll/ Administration Officer to join the Human Resources team at HVO, on a part-time basis. Reporting to the Human Resources Coordinator, this role is responsible for providing data-entry support for the payroll function and assist with a range of HR administrative duties.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate data entry of all timesheets across the site

  • Weekly payroll reporting to proactively identify issues and errors and correct them

  • Responding to employee queries, including queries relating to pay

  • Assisting the HR Department with day-to-day administrative requirements including maintenance of employee personnel files, processing employee changes in the HRIS system, general admin support.

Roster and Location

  • Part-Time Hours (minimum of 38 hours per fortnight). Able to be flexible on setting working days and hours (i.e. around school hours)

  • Based on site at HVO (off Lemington Road)

About You

  • Previous Payroll and/ or HR admin experience is essential

  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Strong computer skills, SAP experience is desirable but not essential

  • High attention to detail

  • Excellent planning and organisation skills

  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and works well in a team environment
