Mastermyne’s mobilising a new development contract at Grosvenor due to kick off in early 2023. With over 100 + experienced development personnel to mobilise it is critical we have the right team on the ground to support our project and operations team.

The role

Reporting to the Project Manager and with the support of a broader HSECT team, the HSECT Coordinator will be expected to carry out the following key responsibilities:

  • Providing HSECT services to projects and contributing to the attainment of the HSECT objectives of the Mastermyne Business Plan;
  • Working in a consultative manner and participating in the development of HSECT projects and plans;
  • Ensuring plans are communicated to the project team;
  • Implementing and administrating HSECT processes and systems to meet legislative, client and Mastermyne requirements;
  • Providing high level of HSECT advice on practices and services to Mastermyne personnel.

To be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • A tertiary Occupational, Health, Safety and Environmental qualification;
  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • A Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator certification preferred;
  • The ability to utilise investigative and audit tools and processes;
  • A minimum of four years’ experience in a HSEQ Management/ Coordinator Role;
  • Underground Coal Mining Industry experience is preferred;
  • An in-depth understanding of HSEQ legislation and standards;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
