Hitting first coal in February 2022 was a huge milestone for our Mastermyne Coal Operations and we’re continuing to build our Cook Colliery project team. About the role:
Coordinators are responsible for providing direction to Mastermyne employees and subcontractors and are required to liaise with external representatives to achieve safety and production targets. Minimum requirements for these positions include:
- Experience in a similar role with a focus on UG Coal Development / Cut & Flit works;
- Projects are planned, managed and delivered within agreed timeframes and budgets;
- Reports are completed, analysed and delivered in agreed timeframes;
- Review / conduct hazard and risk assessments and communicate to all persons working;
- Actively promote and participate in mine safety among the workforce;
- Ensure activities are aligned to planned schedule;
- Identify potential improvements to the process & action;
- Coaching and mentoring team members;
- Provide leadership to crew members, setting positive examples and assisting in team development;
- All mining supervisory certificates / qualifications to carry out the role.
