The Role:

An opportunity now exists for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team. We have the flexibility to have our ideal candidate to be based at one of our Queensland offices in Mackay or Brisbane or in our New South Wales location at Orange. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, and working closely with the broader HR and Finance Teams, you’ll hold accountability for providing payroll services across multiple contracts/sites nationally.

Critical to succeeding in this role as Payroll Officer will be your ability to multi-task commitments, work at a fast pace engaging a number of employees and functional support teams-based Australia wide, along with meet time sensitive payroll processing deadlines.

Key responsibilities and skills required to perform this role to a high standard:

• 2+ years’ experience in high volume payroll
• Experience administering end of month reporting, statutory returns and salary packaging;
• Highly developed time management skills and ability to prioritise deadlines;
• Experience in the interpretation of Employment Contracts and Enterprise Agreements;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Solutions and customer service focused;
• Excellent written and verbal communication;
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously;
• Experience using PayGlobal and Pronto desirable.
