About the opportunity:
Adding to the Mastermyne portfolio, the latest project that has landed is specialising in the Cut & Flit Development mining at Narrabri Underground Coal Mine. Mastermyne have provided services to the Narrabri Mine since 2016, developing a long standing relationship and stability in the NSW UG Coal Industry.
We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager with the same drive and motivation, willing to play an important and integral role in the development and providing high level support for the project.
As the Project Manager, you will work closely with the EGM Mining Operations NSW to ensure the contract’s managed safely and efficiently to deliver on KPIs and operational targets on behalf of Mastermyne and the Client.

Minimum skills and expectations for the Project Manager;
- Evidence of proven success in similar project management roles;
- Experience in implementing safety management system initiatives;
- Outstanding leadership and people management skills;
- Developed planning, budgeting and reporting skills;
- Proven ability to form strong working relationships with key clients, suppliers and other industry contacts; and
- Tertiary qualifications in management, mining or similar (desirable). A statutory qualification would be desirable but not necessary.
- The ability to utilise investigative and audit tools and processes;
- Underground coal mining experience;
- An in-depth understanding of Coal legislation and standards;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Right to work in Australia (Birth Certificate, Passport, Citizenship Certificate)
