About Cook Colliery:

As Mine Operator, Mastermyne is ramping up to a 180 strong workforce to run a three-development panel operation at Cook Colliery mine. Our team are playing an important role in hitting production targets and building a team with a unique and positive safety culture that resonates The Mastermyne Way.  

About the role: 

Our administrators are the backbone of our operations and this role will be critical to provide ongoing support on and off site to our project teams. Your extensive administration and reporting experience will build and develop the organizational support network in the company and on the relevant site linked to this role. Experience in the mining industry and similar administration roles is essential for the success of this position.

Reporting to the on-site Commercial Manager, and working as part of a close-knit site-based operations team, you will be responsible for:

  • Accounts receivable, debtor management, invoicing;
  • Accommodation bookings;
  • Payroll and processing site timesheets;
  • Some training and compliance administration as required.

About You:

The successful applicant will have the following key skills and attributes:

  • Finance administration experience;
  • Prior site-based administration experience desirable;
  • Strong Microsoft Excel & accounting software skills;
  • Ability to problem solve, identify concerns and escalate in a timely manner;
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and expectations;
  • A proactive and positive attitude;
  • Valid Driver’s Licence;
  • QLD Coal Board Medical / Standard 11 Statement of Attainment desirable.
