About the opportunity:

Mastermyne is building our operations team to manage our Whole of Mine contracts at Crinum Underground and Cook Colliery operations. 

This is your chance to be part of specialist on-site project teams to lead the charge of Mastermyne’s contractor operations. It’s a pivotal milestone in Mastermyne’s evolution and has set us up to achieve our long term growth and diversification strategy. Your role will be critical in maintaining quality systems, processes and infrastructure to ensure this is safe and successful operations.

About the role:

Our project technical staff are the backbone to our operations and getting the right people onboard from contract inception is critical to our success. Our project team lead from the front, are forward-thinkers and enjoy diversity in their working week as they juggle the multiple priorities and expectations that come with working on a busy, productive mine site.

Minimum skills and attributes we seek for a Surveyor:

  • Minimum of 3 years post qualification underground surveying experience;
  • Registered Surveyor Qualification with Mining Endorsement (desirable);
  • Tertiary qualification in surveying or equivalent;
  • Experience with installation and set out of major mining infrastructure;
  • Understanding of Queensland Workplace Health and Safety Act, Regulations and where applicable Codes of Practice;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills;
  • Skilled in planning & organising, strategic thinking, problem solving and communication;
  • Tertiary qualification in surveying or equivalent;
  • Advanced AutoCAD or Vulcan Software skills;
  • A willingness to learn new skills;
  • A good understanding underground production equipment;
  • Commitment to the practice of health and safety at all times.
